He was sensible to go uncredited on 'Halloween 3:The Season of the Witch'. Although I heard his original story was a lot better.


John Carpeneter wrote 'Prince of Darkness' under the name of Martin Quatermass.

Quatermass will live forever, you are so right. Did you see the recent live new version? And The Sex Olympics is on every night somewhere in the world, except they call it Big Brother to avoid getting sued.

Sort of don't mind the not very good Halloween 3 :o Can understand why Kneale wanted his name off though.
Prince of Darkness is a very Knealesque story isn't it? I'm sure there were a few more nods to Kneale in it, but can't remember any at the moment.
Not seen the live Quatermass remake yet Peter, good cast though.
Think I'll be putting Sex Olympics adn Stone Tape on my Christmas list, I watched Beasts a couple of months ago and was blown away.
